Cultural Music & Movement Classes for your Preschool or Early Learning Centre
Kids Music and Moves incursions are interactive cultural music and dance classes for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years. Led by Lizzie and her puppet Froggo, these high-energy sessions introduce kids to native Australian animals through music and dance. Each week, Froggo hides an animal in a box, and Lizzie provides clues until the kids guess what it is. They then learn fun facts through Lizzie's original songs, play percussion instruments, and participate in finger plays, action songs, and dances, with story time focused on the animal.
As the program progresses, children explore traditional dances from around the world and songs about native animals from other countries. Lizzie’s upbeat songs make learning engaging. These activities enhance listening skills, coordination, creativity, and confidence while encouraging social interaction and school readiness.

Lizzie has designed her original curriculum to include a Kaurna welcome song, Solfege musical language and ear training, action songs, finger plays, singing, dancing, self-expression, and learning rhythms with percussion instruments. The program also emphasizes school-ready skills such as listening, following directions, and waiting for your turn.
