Weekly Music & Movement Classes for your Preschool or Early Learning Centre

Lizzie (& her frog puppet Froggo) deliver a high energy, interactive class, focusing on teaching kids all about native Australian animals through music & dance.

Every week Froggo hides an animal in the box & Lizzie gives clues, until the kids guess what it is. Then they learn fun facts, action songs, finger plays & dances, as well as having story time based on the animal of the week.

As the program progresses, they learn traditional dances from around the world, as well as singing songs and rhymes about native animals from that country.

This cultural music & dance adventure is highlighted by Lizzie's original songs, which are upbeat, fun and educational for the kids to learn.

More than just a music & dance class, we explore:

Lizzie has designed her original program to include: a Kaurna welcome song, Solfege musical language & ear training, action songs, finger plays, singing, dancing, self expression, learning rhythms with percussion instruments, as well as school-ready skills like listening, following directions & waiting for your turn.

No equipment required!

Lizzie arrives with a big bag of tricks
for the kid's to play with
- including a big parachute, scarves,
ribbon sticks, didgeridoo pipes, egg shakers,
castanets, tap sticks, tambourines & another
bag full of various percussion instruments!

The program connects with the ELF outcomes & enhances the children’s:

* social well-being by facilitating team work & giving them a positive experience which builds their confidence in self-expression;

emotional well-being by the music’s calming effect & increase of positive emotions; &

* physical well-being by encouraging physical activity & stimulating feel-good hormones.
